The certified ISOUSB-PLUS-BOX Isolator effects a potential-separating decoupling of all USB connections and separates the ‘regular’ PC from critical applications. An isolation voltage of 5000 Vrms 1min and 7500 Vdc 1sec. is permissible and tested with single isolation. Certificated with 4000Vrms 1 min with reinforced isolation according to EN60601-1 Rev.3.1, which recommends the isolator especially for medical and sensitive applications. It provides primary a USB socket type B and secondary a USB socket type A, which both come with high retention forces. The output is short-circuit proof. An overload is indicated by a red LED, and the output is switched off in the event of an overload.
