The robust plastic housing is designed for wall or equipment mounting and can be secured using the included mounting brackets. Since signal transmission is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, the Network Isolator requires neither a separate power supply nor additional software drivers.

Product Description

The EMOSAFE EN-20G is designed to provide galvanic isolation for copper-based Ethernet connections and is particularly suitable for integration into medical electrical devices and systems.

By electrically isolating the network connection, the EN-20G helps prevent dangerous leakage currents and potential differences. At the same time, it protects connected devices against external voltages and power surges that may be introduced into the network through installation errors, switching operations or electrostatic discharge.

The Network Isolator supports Ethernet connections up to 1000BASE-T, provides a dielectric strength of 4.0 kV AC or 5.6 kV DC, and meets the construction requirements of IEC 60601-1. Its compact, robust housing allows for flexible mounting on walls or equipment panels.
